Museums at Night - Advertising
When tasked to come up with a guerrilla advertising campaign for Leeds, promoting global event Museums at Night, this was my response.
The idea is simple: several unidentified objects have appeared in and around Leeds City Centre, and passers-by are invited to solve puzzles using touch screens on the objects. Available puzzles include riddles, anagrams or deliberately unclear maps leading to a specific location. This turns the whole campaign into an alternate reality game of sorts, as players attempt to work out why the objects have arrived and win prizes along the way.
In addition to the guerrilla advertising, I produced a series of posters to promote the event. These tie in directly to the objects, and prompt people to participate in the game.
